The Group consists of a large number of (project) companies to which intra-group loans and credit lines are made available. These must be priced in such a way that they can be compared with third parties and are therefore appropriate in terms of creditworthiness and maturity. Baywa r.e. uses an industry-specific transfer pricing tool to determine interest rates, which is used to calculate company credit ratings, monitor key capital structure figures at a local level and create a transparent documentation basis for tax administrations.
