Dr. Imke Jacob

Imke Jacob, born in Bremen in 1985, is a General Representative of DZ BANK AG and will join the Executive Board in July 2026. After studying business administration in Mannheim and Beijing and earning her Ph.D. from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (2016), she began her career at Deutsche Bank (2010–2015). From 2016 to 2023, Jacob worked at McKinsey, initially in Frankfurt, where she rose to the rank of partner, and later in New York as head of the Commercial and Transaction Banking segment for North America. In 2023, she joined DZ BANK as Head of Strategy & Group Development and was appointed General Representative in 2024.
