Conditions of participation

The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to participation in the Financial Symposium of SLG Treasury GmbH (organizer). The masculine form is used to improve the readability of personal designations and personal words. These terms apply to all genders.

1st object

The contractual relationship between the organizer and the participant is limited exclusively to the possibility of ordering home tickets - i.e. admission tickets that the customer prints out himself - for events via the Internet in accordance with the following conditions. No guarantee is given for the accuracy of the event data contained in the Organizer's online presence. Information can be changed at any time and without prior notice.

The exhibition regulations of the organizer as well as the house rules of the respective venue must be observed when entering the event. Home tickets may only be purchased from the official website.

2. conclusion of contract

By clicking on the "Payment" field, the customer makes an offer to the respective organizer. The offer is deemed to have been accepted by the organizer when the organizer confirms receipt of payment visually or by e-mail. The contract is then deemed to have been concluded.

The customer is not authorized to reproduce or modify Hometickets. Reproduction is punishable by law and will be reported to the police. If copies of a Home Ticket appear, the original ticket also becomes invalid and no longer entitles the customer to admission, unless the customer is not at fault for the existence of the copies.

The participation fee is per person and includes VAT.

With the registration confirmed by the organizer, you are entitled to the following services:

  • Visit to the accompanying trade exhibition
  • Participation in all program items listed in the agenda
  • Detailed congress documents (online/offline)
  • Catering on the three congress days
  • Refreshments at the designated catering areas
  • Participation in the welcome evening on Wednesday
  • The gala evening is also included for corporate participants, as long as places are available.

3. right of amendment and payment

  1. Payment for home tickets is made cashless by invoice or credit card. If, for any reason, payment has not been received in our accounts before the event in question, the organizer reserves the right to block the relevant passes for the event and refuse admission.
  2. The organizer has the right to make minor changes to the event and/or its content, insofar as this is reasonable for the participant.

4 Cancellation and refusal

  1. Cancellation of participation in the event must be made in writing. Cancellation of registration is possible free of charge up to 2 weeks before the start of the event, after which 50% of the participation fee will be charged. Cancellations on the day of the event or no-shows will be charged the full participation fee. Of course, a replacement person can be sent or a rebooking can be made.
  2. The organizer is entitled to cancel the event up to one month before the start of the event if the required minimum number of exhibitors is not reached. The organizer will inform the participants immediately. Any participation fees already paid will be refunded to the participant. Further claims by the participant are excluded.
  3. The organizer is entitled to terminate the participation extraordinarily if the participant is in default of his financial obligations towards the organizer.
  4. If the organizer is unable to hold the event as planned due to force majeure, both parties shall be released from their obligation to perform. Claims for damages are excluded in this case.
  5. The organizer shall inform the contractual partner immediately if the event cannot be held due to force majeure.
  6. Force majeure includes, in particular, official decrees that prohibit the event or make it dependent on compliance with conditions that make it difficult to hold the event economically, for example due to a restriction on the number of participants.

5. personalized tickets and the printout

Home tickets are delivered electronically by e-mail as a PDF file to the customer's e-mail address.

Home tickets are personalized and non-transferable. They are only valid for the holder whose surname and first name are printed on the ticket. Proof of identity, e.g. an identity card, driving license or passport, may therefore be requested at the event's access control. The validity of every home ticket is checked electronically.

Home tickets must be printed out using a laser or inkjet printer with a resolution of at least 300 DPI on white A4 paper in legible quality as a color or black and white printout. Acrobat Reader is required for printing.

6. liability

  1. The organizer is not liable for damages caused by transmission errors, technical breakdowns, interruptions due to maintenance work or other disruptions.
  2. The Financial Symposium is prepared and conducted by qualified speakers. The organizer assumes no liability for the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the content.
  3. The organizer is not liable for damages caused by measures to maintain safety and order. If the event is restricted, canceled or interrupted on the instructions of the organizer as a result of a misjudgment of risks, the organizer shall not be liable for cases of simple negligence.
  4. The organizer has liability insurance for its legal liability. In addition, the general insurance provisions for liability insurance (AHB) apply. The liability insurance only covers damages to third parties. The insurance cover does not extend to supporting events that are not carried out by the organizer.

7. hygiene concept

The participant is obliged to implement and comply with a hygiene concept provided by the organizer, which the organizer can also adapt before and during the event at its own discretion if necessary in order to take account of the applicable legal and official requirements and which can also go beyond any legal (minimum) requirements, insofar as this is reasonable for the participant.

8. note on photo, film and sound recordings

We would like to point out that photos, films and/or sound recordings may be made during the event. These recordings are associated with the pictorial representation of persons present, whereby the selection of persons is random. The images will be displayed on the Internet (e.g. on the organizer's website or the congress website), in print media and on social media channels. By entering the event rooms, the person present consents to publication in the above manner free of charge, without the need for an express declaration by the person concerned. Should the person concerned not agree to the publication of their person in individual cases, please inform the responsible photographer or cameraman immediately.

If the person concerned does not agree with a specific publication of a photographic depiction of their person that has already taken place, we request that they notify us immediately by email, telephone or post, stating the exact name of the image in question. In this case, the image will be removed within a reasonable period of time and no longer published.

The organizer prohibits any film or sound recordings by the participants (e.g. via cell phone), as unauthorized recordings constitute copyright infringements by the speakers.

9. data security and data protection

The organizer uses a secure transmission method (SSL) for the transfer of customer and payment data. This is intended to achieve the highest possible security standard.

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions and inform you in this privacy policy about our practices to protect your personal rights.

10 Applicable law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively.
