Madhur Jha

Madhur heads the thematic research team at Standard Chartered. The team is responsible for the bank’s strategic, thought-leadership research content. She joined Standard Chartered in 2013. Previously, Madhur worked at HSBC in London for six years, primarily as a global economist but also covering European economics, particularly Spain. She gained experience in emerging-market economics research during her time as a CEEMEA economist at a leading research consultancy in London and as an FX economist at ICICI Bank in India, where she also worked in FX derivatives sales. Madhur holds a master’s degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics in India.
