Conditions of participation
Conditions of participation
-
Scope of application
- For all events of SLG Treasury GmbH, Gertrude-Fröhlich-Sander-Str. 3, 1100 Vienna, Austria (hereinafter "Organizer"), the following General Terms and Conditions of Participation (hereinafter "Terms and Conditions of Participation") apply in the version valid at the time of conclusion of the contract vis-à-vis entrepreneurs within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB), legal entities under public law or a special fund under public law (hereinafter "Participant").
- The organizer's conditions of participation apply exclusively. Conflicting, deviating or supplementary terms and conditions of the participants are rejected and shall not become part of the contract. The participant's terms and conditions shall not become part of the contract even if reference is made to them in the order/registration and the organizer does not expressly object to them or provide services.
- Changes or additions to the organizer's conditions of participation require written confirmation by the organizer's management.
-
Registration and confirmation of registration
- Registrations for all of the organizer's events can only be made via the organizer's ticket store tickets.finanzsymposium.com. In this respect, the organizer's offers merely represent a non-binding invitation to conclude a contract for participation in the event.
- The participant selects the appropriate ticket and ticket category (one-day, two-day or three-day ticket) in the ticket store, taking into account the information on ticket categorization (corporate ticket and non-corporate ticket). Binding registration in the ticket store only takes place when the corresponding button is clicked and these conditions of participation and the privacy policy are accepted.
- The organizer will send the participant an automatic electronic confirmation of receipt immediately after registration.
- The organizer will then check the ticket categorization made by the participant and, if the ticket categorization has been made correctly, will send the participant a registration confirmation promptly, but no later than five (5) days later. The contract is only concluded after the Organizer has checked the registration and sent a registration confirmation.
- The delivery of tickets by the organizer to the participant (so-called home tickets, i.e. admission tickets that the customer prints out himself) is carried out electronically by e-mail as a PDF file to the e-mail address provided by the participant during registration. Home tickets are personalized and non-transferable. They are only valid for the respective holder whose surname and first name are printed in full on the ticket. The organizer reserves the right to carry out a legitimation check as part of the admission control for the event. The validity of each home ticket will be checked electronically upon admission. Home tickets must be printed on white A4 paper in legible quality using a laser or inkjet printer with a resolution of at least 300 DPI.
- There is no general entitlement to participate in the event; the organizer reserves the right to admit participants on a case-by-case basis. The organizer is entitled to exclude participants from further participation in special cases (e.g. late payment, disruption of the event, participation under false pretences/deception). In the event of exclusion, there is no entitlement to a refund of the ticket price.
- The participant is not authorized to modify home tickets. Duplication is punishable by law and will be reported to the police by the organizer. If copies of a Home Ticket appear, the original ticket also becomes invalid and no longer entitles the holder to admission, unless the customer is not at fault for the existence of the copies.
- In the event of overbooking, the applicant will be informed immediately; a contract will not be concluded in this case.
-

- The scope of services and event location can be found in the respective event description of the organizer. With the registration confirmed by the organizer, the participant is entitled to the following services:

- The Financial Symposium is prepared and conducted by qualified speakers; no liability is accepted for the topicality, accuracy and completeness of the content.

- The organizer has liability insurance for its legal liability. The insurance only covers damages to third parties; no protection for fringe events that are not carried out by the organizer.
-
Hygiene concept
The participant is obliged to implement and comply with a hygiene concept provided by the organizer; the organizer may adapt this concept before and during the event, if necessary, in order to comply with legal/official requirements, even beyond minimum requirements, as far as reasonable.
-
Domestic authority
The organizer and third parties commissioned by the organizer exercise domiciliary rights on the event site; instructions must be followed. Participants without a valid ticket may be expelled from the premises; the ticket price will not be refunded. The organizer reserves the right to take further legal action.
-

The organizer or commissioned/accredited persons shall make photo, film and/or sound recordings for information and advertising purposes, which may be associated with the depiction of persons present.
