EWE and MMG demonstrate how ISO 20022 was implemented group-wide using SAP Advanced Payment Management (APM). While many regulatory deadlines were postponed, EWE stuck to its schedule, thereby turning a regulatory requirement into a strategic advantage. The focus was on introducing the new pain and camt.053 formats on a central S/4HANA payment hub. Drawing on practical insights, the presentation shares lessons learned from the impact analysis, pilot phase, and go-live in November 2025.
