Work experience:
1992 Management trainee program at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, followed by a position as assistant to the management at the Duisburg branch. Subsequently branch manager of two large branches of Deutsche Bank.
At the end of 1997, he moved to HOCHTIEF AG in Essen as Head of Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, and Asset Management. He was responsible for all global financial activities of the international construction group, including numerous national and international projects. From 2004, he was also Deputy Chairman of HOCHTIEF Pension Trust e.V., the group's investment company for financing German pension obligations.
2019 Appointed Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at gracher. Responsible for sales activities in the area of surety insurance, internationalization of the group, and digitization of the surety business, e.g., through the development of gracher SuretyManager, the company's in-house surety management software.
In March 2026, he joined the Board of Directors and assumed the chairmanship there.
