Dr. Mario Reichel

Dr. Mario Reichel has been working since 2019 as Lead Payment Industry Representative at PPI AG, a consulting and solutions provider for banking and payment transactions. In this role, he serves as a coach for banks and is also involved in product management at PPI.

With more than 25 years of experience in the payments industry, he is deeply committed to standardization—not only professionally in the interbank sector, but also in the customer-bank relationship.

Since 2012, he has been a member of the Cash & Liquidity Division of the Association of German Treasurers (VDT). There, he chairs the API Working Group and is also active in the Crypto, Formats, and Digitalization of Foreign Trade Processing working groups.

In addition to his involvement with the VDT, he is also co-convener of the CGI-MP.
