Ralf Schuster

I am Helaba's geopolitical expert. Thanks to my nearly 40 years of involvement in German foreign trade, I have first-hand knowledge of the economic and political issues affecting over 100 countries.

As someone who bridges the gap between the financial and real economies, I worked in the German medical technology export sector for nearly 20 years, most recently as head of the Office for Government Relations in Berlin. I am also a long-standing member of the Executive Board of GHORFA—the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry—and a member of the International Club at the Federal Foreign Office.

My audience at financial institutions, companies, associations, and in politics extends far beyond Germany.
