About us
Commerzbank is the leading bank for German small and medium-sized enterprises and a strong partner to around 24,000 corporate customer associations. It also serves private and corporate customers in Germany with assets under management of more than €400 billion. The bank offers a comprehensive portfolio of financial services in two business areas: Private and Corporate Customers and Corporate Clients. Commerzbank handles around 30% of German foreign trade and is represented in more than 40 countries in the corporate customer business. The bank focuses on German SMEs, large corporations, and institutional clients. In its international business, Commerzbank supports clients with business ties to Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, as well as companies from selected future-oriented industries. In the Private and Small Business Customers segment, the bank supports its customers with the Commerzbank and comdirect brands: online and mobile, in its advisory centers, and in person on site. The Polish subsidiary mBank S.A. is an innovative digital bank and serves around 5.8 million private and corporate customers, mainly in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
