Alwin Harkema

Alwin Harkema is the EMEA GPS Business Development Executive, Global Payments Solutions (GPS) at Bank of America. In his role, Alwin leads the EMEA sales and coverage teams to execute business strategies for a selection of corporate clients across the region. He also advises senior leaders across organisations, including CFOs, treasurers and cash management executives, providing counsel on treasury management.

Alwin has over 25 years of transaction banking experience, having most recently served as Head of Corporate Sales for Northern Europe, GPS, where he led the team focused on delivering cash, trade, liquidity, card and transactional FX solutions to a portfolio of large corporates.

He joined Bank of America in April 2013 as a Senior Treasury Sales Officer for GPS and prior to joining the bank, led the transaction banking business for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at BBVA in Frankfurt. Alwin has also held senior roles in the transaction banking and client coverage teams at ABN AMRO Bank/RBS and Rabobank International.
