Christian Schmahl

Christian Schmahl started his Treasury career at Groupon in 2010 as a Treasury Analyst where he together with his Management build a Treasury function from the green field out of Berlin and Switzerland developing his career over seven years becoming a Treasury Manager.

Since 2017 Christian Schmahl is leading the Group Treasury at Delivery Hero headquarter in Berlin as Treasury Director developing the Treasury department together with his Team at a groupwide global scale aiming for a state of the art Treasury with focus on digitalization, (real time) automation and highly scalable Treasury solutions.
His academic education Christian Schmahl started at the Berlin School of Economics and Law in 2005 where he graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration in 2009.
In 2007 he studied abroad at the Zurcher University of Applied Science/SwitzerlandFinance and Accounting and in 2015 he studied at the Luzern University of Applied Science/Switzerland where he graduated as a CAS Swiss Certified Treasurer (SCT) in 2016
